Mail routing problem (one user)

Hi

I have a problem with one users email routing.

The users mailbox and all the other mailboxes sits on a Domino server V9.0.1 FP4.

When other internal users send an email to Jo Smith/ABC_GB@ABC_GB sometimes the email ends up in his mailbox, but other times the To: address is being changed to Jo Smith/ABC_GB%ABC_GB.@xx.xxx.local

(Full_Name/Org%DominoDomain@IPDomain.TopLevelDomain)

So instead of using internal domino routing it is then classifying the email as SMTP internet bound and fails, because the domain address is not recognised.

Jo Smith client Location Document has his email address added.

His Person document has his internet address added.

I cannot work out why this is happening.

According to the following articles everything is setup correct.

https://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSKTMJ_8.5.3/com.ibm.help.domino.admin85.doc/H_USING_THE_GLOBAL_DOMAIN_DOCUMENT_TO_CONFIGURE_RETURN_ADDRESSES_ON_OUTBOUND_MAIL_OVER.html

http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21098584

Are settings are............

Under the Server / configuration
<Server name>..
MIME / Outbound
Lookup Internet address for all Notes addresses when Internet address is not defined in document: ENABLED

Under Messaging / Domains
Global Domain
Global Domain
Conversions
Internet address lookup: Disabled

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

I take it is all users trying to send to this user?   The first email in the full name field on the person doc looks ok?   Did you by chance try sending a email from another server (switch location docs).  Is there a person doc in the sending users local names.nsf that might be corrupt?

Hi

The problem seems to be intermittent, some mails get through and some are forwarded to the smtp address.

His person document is fine on the server, everything set correctly ie full name.

I have not tested from sending from another server.  I can do that if the problem reappears.

Previously I have checked out the sending users names.nsf and deleted all Recent contacts and checked there was no entry in there main contact for the problem user.

At the moment it is behaving itself.
